Zeit, sich zu besinnen und an die wichtigen Dinge im Leben zu denken, zum Beispiel die bevorstehende Zombieapokalypse mit anschlie\u00dfendem Weltuntergang. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Ich glaube, Japaner k\u00fcmmern sich einen Schei\u00df um die Mayas, ihren Kalender und zwielichtige Westler, die selbigen als Anlass zur Panikmache missbrauchen. Bisher habe ich noch keine fundierte Diskussion mit den Einheimischen f\u00fchren k\u00f6nnen, die Reaktion kann ich mir dennoch ausmalen: \u201eWeltuntergang? Sugooooi (=bombig)!!!\u201c Eine sympathische Einstellung, wenn auch fadenscheinig. Denn will man sich gerade noch mit dem gequ\u00e4lten L\u00e4cheln seines Gegen\u00fcbers zufrieden geben, merkt man schnell, dass die Aussage weder gut durchdacht, noch sonderlich ernst gemeint war. Erz\u00e4hl ihnen von deinen Weltuntergangstheorien oder von den Vorz\u00fcgen deutschen Bieres; die Reaktion ist dieselbe: \u201eSugooooi!\u201c Einfach gesagt: Geh mir nicht auf den Sack. Das hier ist Japan, nicht der schei\u00df Rest der Welt.<\/p>\n<p>Wenn ich so dar\u00fcber nachdenke, dann mache ich mir erst recht keine Sorgen um den 21. Dezember. Sollen die alten Mayas doch pers\u00f6nlich auferstehen und ihr Unwesen als Untote treiben. Ich bezweifele, dass sie Japan finden oder dorthin schwimmen wollen. Bis dahin begn\u00fcge ich mich einfach mit Scheinzombies, die nachts im Nudelrestaurant schlafen.<\/p>\n<hr style=\"height: 1px; color: #aaa;\" \/>\n<p>And all of a sudden, Reformation Day is again just around the corner. Time to reflect and think about the important things in life, such as the imminent zombie apocalypse and the subsequent end of the world.<\/p>\n<p>I believe Japanese give a shit about the Mayas, their calendar and dubious Westerners who abuse the latter as an opportunity to spread panic. Until now, I haven\u2019t really had a solid discussion with the natives, however I can imagine the reaction: \u201cThe end of the world? Sugooooi (=terrific)!!!\u201d A nice attitude, a bit specious though. So, you basically just want to act satisfied seeing your opposite\u2019s agonised smile, but then you realise that the message was neither well thought through, nor meant very seriously. Tell them about your theories about the end of the world or about the benefits of German beer; the reaction is the same: \u201cSugooooi!\u201d To put it that way: Don\u2019t get on my tits. That\u2019s Japan here, not the fucking rest of the world.<\/p>\n<p>When I think about it, then I actually don\u2019t worry at all about 21 December. Shall the Mayas resurrect in person and frighten the world as undead. I doubt that they would even find Japan or would like to swim there.
