Okinawa liegt im S\u00fcden Japans. Eine kleine Hauptinsel und viele kleinere. Japan und irgendwie auch nicht Japan. Eine seltsame Mystik und Hunded\u00e4monen, die \u00fcber die Menschen wachen. Alles ist gr\u00fcn und von den H\u00e4usern bl\u00e4ttert die Farbe, wie sie es immer tut, wenn es warm ist und feucht. Alles lebt und w\u00e4chst, und mit dem vielen Leben kommt der Tod. Im Norden der Insel gibt es ein riesiges Aquarium und Menschen aus ganz Japan und China und der ganzen Welt str\u00f6men hinein, um die Fische zu sehen. Eine Mur\u00e4ne in einem winzigen Becken, die schon ganz dumm ist von all dem Geglotze und ein zehn Meter langer Walhai, der tage-, wochen-, monate-, jahrelang in seinem kleinen Kreis schwimmt. Man hofft, dass er nicht denken kann und seine traurige Spiegelung in der Scheibe erkennt.<\/p>\n

Okinawa is situated in the south of Japan. The small main island and many smaller ones. Japan and, in a way, not Japan. A strange mysticism and dog demons that watch over the people. Everything is green and the colour is flaking off the houses, how it always does when it\u2019s warm and wet. Everything\u2019s alive and grows, and with this variety of life, death comes. There is a huge aquarium in the north of the island and people from all over Japan and China and the entire world pour in to see the fish. A moray in a tiny pool, left nothing but stupid by all this gawking and a ten-meter whale shark that swims in his small circle for days, weeks, months, years. It is to hope that he cannot think and recognise his sad reflection in the pane.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
